But maybe I’ll use my dizzy down time to finally make a proper start to my Shirujuku blog.
In other news I’ve been playing Sims 3 non stop (the first EP comes on Tuesday!) and I just beat Fantina in Pokemon Platinum, which I just restarted again. =3
The start of a new quarter and I feel like taking on a new project. Maybe I’ll work on my abandoned/never started ‘Fonzi’s ShiruJuku’. =[
But in other news, I’m THIS close to finally getting my cupcake roof in restaurant city (lol, facebook addict).
Okay, so every time I visit the Sims 3 forums it’s always with people complaining in nearly EVERY SINGLE THREAD. It’s annoying and most of the reasons are just plain stupid and some don’t even make sense. The fact that we can’t create our own neighborhoods is annoying. It’s not a feature that I used very much in TS2, but I still found it fun to be able to actually customize our game and not have to start out with the same neighborhood. Every. Single. Time. This something to get annoyed about, not pissed off, but annoyed. It’s certainly not something to boycott EA over. >_> That problem I can get, but the following list (anyone remember my lists of doom?) shouldn’t even be annoying.
It has “No Content”
Detail – People bitching that they don’t have pets, nightclubs, apartments ect.
My Response – Hello? It may have been in TS2 but it was still Expansion Pack Content. I dare anyone who complains about this to reinstall TS2 with NO EPs. You’ll find that TS3 has more to do then in TS2 base game.
You Can’t go in the Buildings
Detail – People angry that their Sims go into a building and you can’t see them inside.
My Response – Am I the only one who doesn’t actually care? At least you get to see what kind of building your Sims work in. In Ts2 I found community lots boring unless they were the NL clubs or your Sim’s own OfB store. And again, EP content.
The Sim Points Store
Detail – EA now has a store on the Sims3 website that we can buy in game items from for real money. People annoyed at lack of CAS content “being forced” to buy content.
My Response - Has anyone stopped butthurting enough to actually look at the content that’s for sale? 99% of it is BUTT UGLY. There’s perfectly good, free third party content avalible for download, only a Google search away.
Single People Having Random Babies
Detail – Single Sims in the neighborhood end up with randomly popping up children even if they’re male.
My Response – Ever heard of a one night stand? If the Sim is female you could just say that she got pregnant and doesn’t know who the father is if that satisfies your little mind. If the sim is male then simply say that a kid from a one night stand months ago got dropped on the doorstep (ever seen Three Men and a Baby?). It really doesn’t bother me that much.
The Game is Buggy
Detail – The game crashes, is slow, doesn’t start ect.
My Response – I know this has been said a bazillion times for every PC game in existence, but IT’S YOUR COMPUTER. I manage to play TS3 on a crappy little HP laptop with a sub-par graphics card and not a whole lot of processor power. And you know what? It runs FASTER then TS2. If the game doesn’t start, it’s most likely your computer because it seems to start for everyone else just fine.
Your Families will Never Meet.
Detail – You can create multiple families and you can never get them to meet.
My Response – I have no idea why this is such a big one because the fact is, your mulitple familes CAN meet. =/
So all in all I think I’ve given my opinion on most of the big issues that people complain about, but if you know one that you want me to add then drop a comment and I’ll get back to it. 
I’ve just spent a whole hour trying to get Movie Maker to work because this stupid codec problem keeps popping back up even after I’ve installed about five different codec packs and fiddled with the settings. TT__TT I would have said I should have gotten a Mac but making machinima on a Mac is a silly idea isn’t it?
Anyway, so now I’m stuck with Windows LIVE Movie Maker, which does work. Well, at least it works how it’s supposed to. But it’s a sorry excuse for an editing program if ever I saw one. x_X I fail to see how slashing something’s features in half and refusing to work on it how the customers want it is progress.
It’s new Coke all over again. Or maybe IMVU. Or maybe when (right before it windows live messenger) they redid MSN to have no customization possible, no games to play, no winks and no webcam. Microsoft does know the meaning of progress right?
LL won’t take my f*cking credit card. TT__TT So does anyone know of a way to get money into paypal from a card? I can’t use XLStreet or whatever because I’m on the TG.

Sorry, got that song stuck in my head. I’ve also been fantasizing about hosting my own TSL internet radio station. =/ But that also leads me to the point of this post. I have decided to start a TSL blog. xD Which might as well lead to something bigger on the grid but whatever, I’ll try my hand at blogging just for now. I think I’m already sort of good at that, amirite?
I also bought my HOMECOMING dress yesterday! =D It’s pretty and I might make a version of it on IMVU too. I’ve been meaning to get into the devving thing again but I’ve been way too busy… =/ Oh, and god help me I’ve been thinking about the backstory for a forum RP that sounds like it would be fun to run, the only problem is that it has alot of the supernatural creatures that have been molested by teenage novels lately. I really don’t want to RP with sparkly people… x_X
Just wondering if I should start a Secondlife blog. I already have the blog and name set up under this wordpress account. I just need to decide if I have the time to do a whole ‘nuther blog and if I have time to even play SL regularly.

Maybe I should start another IMVU tutorial site, I had one like a year ago and I liked it but I just kinda got fed up with webs.com. >_< Oh, and it looks like they removed it. >_> Well my next project will either be a TSL blog or an IMVU tutorial site. =]

But I shudder to think where the human race is heading if he’s serious. Back when I hosted on blogger I’m pretty sure they had a spell check feature, and when you’re writing a ’serious’ paper then it is a good idea to not write like a retarded twelve year old (save that for 80% of the content on Fanfiction.net people). It’s also a little funny how you can get away with doing very little reasearch, not name any truely reliable sources (or even Wikipedia for that matter) and still be taken seriously by a small (and thankfully so) group of people.
Not to mention that some of his references to certain events and when they happened seem entirely impossible.
I don’t really see how an outbreak that started sometime around April could be caused by a vaccine that was only released earlier this month. I mean yes, it’s common knowledge that vaccines give you part of a virus cell but to purposefully infect people by using the vaccine just seems a little too James Bond for me. (I’m actually pretty sure that this was the villan’s plot in one of the Alex Rider books, Scorpio I think). Time travel anyone?
Though it should be mentioned that the owner of the blog claims that article wasn’t written by himself .
